Most of this week is outdoors and most of it starts after five. The patio question has quietly flipped from is it warm enough to did anyone bring a jacket. Sunday is the one to plan around. Two markets overlap, one on the Millcreek plaza and one at Wheeler Farm. Friday is simpler: market and food trucks from five, a dance show at eight, same ground. | Curbside Theater, free on the plaza FridayCurbside Theater brings a traveling dance circus to Millcreek Common on Friday at 8pm. It is free and it is outdoors. SB Dance is the company behind it, and the billing is dance theater wrapped inside a circus. The Millcreek Farmers Market and Sound Bites run on the same ground from 5 to 9pm, with food trucks and live music. Dinner and the show are one trip and one parking spot, which is the whole argument. Get there before eight. This is the rare Friday that works for a four-year-old and for someone who moved here in June. Bring a blanket and sit wherever looks right. I have not seen SB Dance outside and cannot say what a dance circus does with a plaza. |

SUNDAY 6351 South 900 East, Murray, Utah 84121 Wheeler Farm Sunday Market opens Sunday at 9am at 6351 South 900 East in Murray. It is the early item of the weekend and the only one down in Murray. If you go: take it first, which leaves the rest of the day free for the plaza market at 11am. |

Bazaar Market sets up Sunday from 11am to 4pm at Millcreek Common Public Market and Plaza. Five hours, so there is no wrong time to show up. The skate loop sits a few steps away, though the free beginner class on it comes Monday. |

|
MONDAY FREE The Skate Loop at Millcreek Common runs a beginner class on Monday at 6pm. Free. It sits on the same plaza as Sunday's market, a few steps from where the vendors set up. It is the only weeknight item on this week's list. |

OPEN SLOT Fueled by nobody yet. This slot is open, and nobody has paid for anything in this issue, including the three taco shops listed under it. It is labeled either way. If you run something on the east bench that I would send a neighbor to, email about sponsoring and we can talk about October. |

Three Locals: taco shops Three places on the bench, picked off the map by review count. Nobody paid for this and we are not vouching for anyone. Know a better one? Reply and name it. |

Friday has you outside after dark and sitting still, which is colder than the same plaza in daylight. The market half of the evening is walking; the show half is sitting. Bring a jacket for you and one for the kid. Sunday is a choosing problem. Wheeler Farm opens at 9am and the Bazaar Market on the plaza runs 11am to 4pm, which makes both possible. Of the two, the 9am start at Wheeler Farm is the better plan. Do that one first and let the plaza be the afternoon. Most of what lands in my inbox comes from Millcreek, which makes sense and is also a gap. If you run something in Holladay, or you just heard about one, email a Holladay tip. What is the one Holladay Village Plaza event you would drive across the bench for? I went to the plaza market in August, bought peaches I did not need, and stayed for the music. Friday is that, plus a dance circus. Which Sunday market are you doing, Wheeler Farm or the plaza? Send this to whoever in your group text asks at 4pm on Friday what there is to do, or hand them the Bench Press signup. See you on the plaza. |
